Announcing our Speakers for Admission Online: From Event to Show

On May 26th, we’ll be delighted to bring you the latest installment in our new event series, Admission Online.

For this edition, Admission Online: From Event to Show, we’ll be bringing together three presenters to discuss the shift to presenting and producing virtual shows from a variety of perspectives.

These are the voices we’ll be hearing from:

Jan Blake

Jan Blake is one of the world’s leading storytellers, and has been performing for over thirty years.

Specialising in stories from Africa and the Caribbean she has a well-earned reputation for dynamic and generous storytelling.

She works with educators, with brands, and with organisations engaged in delivering social and environmental driven change.

Jan’s talk is entitled: Storytelling: Getting to grips with the new aesthetic during the Covid-19 pandemic. During her presentation she’ll be talking us through the evolution of storytelling in recent times and her personal experience.

Kilian Waters

Kilian Waters is an award-winning filmmaker and video designer with over fifteen years’ experience directing, shooting and editing across a wide range of projects.

He is a regular guest lecturer at the Lír Academy in Dublin and co-director of Arcade Film where he produces, shoots and edits a variety of films and documentaries.

Kilian’s will cover advice around our theme based on his experience throughout his career in his talk, Trust Me, I’m a Director.

Kristen Bryant

Kristen leads Wistia’s partnership efforts. As part of that role she curates Wistia’s slate of events and livestreams.

Since joining Wistia in 2017, she’s contributed to a variety of initiatives including the creation, execution and promotion of their long-form video series.

Kristen’s talk will cover how Wistia curated high-quality online events and at-home video set-ups for every budget.

Along with these presentations, we’re pleased to announce that the show will feature musical performances by acclaimed singer-songwriter, Aoife Scott.

This edition of Admission Online kicks off at 8PM Irish time and will run for two hours. Our host will be none other than our CEO, Paul Campbell.

We’ll be hosting the event on our new platform, Vito, so if you’re also curious about what Team Tito’s been building over the past number of months, you’ll be in the perfect place to see it in action for yourself.

Tickets are available here. If you’ve attended any of our previous Admission Online events, please get in touch as we’d love to offer you a little something as a thank you for being part of this growing community.
