Food Industry Events 2018/19 | A Taster Menu

At Tito, we work with a lot of developer conferences, design conferences, and community conferences, but that’s certainly not all we do.

This week it’s a privilege to share something a bit more outside the box than what we’ve previously shared in our round-ups.

So, here, you’ll find some of the culinary delights that Tito customers have brought to the table (if you excuse the pun) in recent times as we look at three food industry events taking place in 2018.

Slow Food Comes to the Manor

Hampton Manor has been home to decadence since 1855. Boasting a Michelin star, their chefs and food experts are bringing together fine minds and wines this October to discuss Slow Food.

Slow Food is, in essence, the polar opposite of fast food. The notion of slow food is a movement to preserve traditional and regional cuisine in a sustainable and celebratory manner.

The event in question will feature conversations and new ideas within the movement. Some subjects on show will be the use of forgotten foods, sustainable practices and best practices when working with producers. Of course, they’ll be interspersed with food tastings.

Date: October 29th, 2018.

Tickets: Available now. (Including BBQ access)

Seeds&Chips 2019

Seeds&Chips is the global food innovation summit and, will take place next year in the spectacular food capital, Milan, Italy.

As the largest international event solely dedicated to food innovation, everyone from start ups to investors, and from chefs to management will attend to take in the newest trends in the food industry.

My personal favourite aspect that’s been confirmed is the presence of a pizza master discussing the evolution of the Neapolitan pizza, but that just hints and the gastronomical delights on offer.

Date: May 6th-9th, 2019.

Tickets: Buy one at 60% off, get one free. (For a limited time only.)

10 Ways You Can Head Your Body & Your World

Forksmart is a movement aiming to educate the world of the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle. They host a variety of events around the subject and, this October, will be providing a live Skype connection to an expert in the field. CEO of Food Revolution, Ocean Robbins will be presenting.

Robbins has built a community of over 500,000 people committed to his research on the role of plant-based nutrition in human health. He’ll be providing a candid and exclusive view into recent developments in food science.

Date: October 18th, 2018.

Tickets and access: Available here, and now.

Did you know we’re also hosting our own conference this September?
