There’s No Such Thing As a Free Event Round-Up

I always thought the phrase “there’s no such thing as a free lunch” came off as unappreciative.

I understand the sentiment that you’ll always have to give to get, but I also understand that sometimes I’d be happier if I just took a step back and appreciated the sandwich.

This week, I wanted to share some of the quality events that our customers are facilitating that, without compromise, are free.

Whisky & Whiskers – Shaving Distilled

If you like the smell of denim, the taste of peat, and having a smooth face, then this is the event for you.

If that venn diagram of preferences is too small for you, you’ll still enjoy it if you’re interested in either dark liquor or the art of getting a good shave.

On the night of this free event, you’ll be treated to fine whiskys from Craftwork Spirits, a shaving demo from Denim & Smith, and instructions on how to choose the right shaving tool from Rattlestick.

FreeCodeConference GTA

Beginners’ events always speak to me. There’s something so nice in knowing that an event is a catalyst for someone starting a new chapter of their career or interest.

FreeCodeConf GTA is designed to enable those who are either just starting to code, or those who have some education under their belt, but are looking for a way into the industry.

Tickets are limited (and free!) so if you’re in the area, you’re encouraged to act fast.
