Meetups – A Round-Up

Anyone over the age of 20 will tell you that it gets harder as you get older to make friends.

There’s any number of reasons for that. Perhaps it’s because other pursuits take up our time and energy. Perhaps it’s down to not having a designated new step like school or college to throw you into a new pool of people. Or maybe it’s just because you get lazy.

For a remedy to this, this week on Tito we’re going to take a look at meetups. Constantly rated as one of the best places to meet like-minded folks, our customers showcase very varied interests, which you might share with them:

Dusseldorf Shopify Meetup

Dusseldorf is known for electronica, a large Japanese population, and now ecommerce platform expertise.

Tito meetups

This meetup aims to bring together people who are experts in Shopify and those who want to learn more about it. Eshop Guide, the number one Shopify experts in Germany, SendCloud and Inara Schreibt will present.

Tickets? Right here. And they’re free!

Date? May 17th, 2018.

Tech Vancouver

Almost 7,000 people are subscribed to Tech Vancouver meetup announcements, and for good reason.

This thriving meetup features innovators and leaders who present five minute TED-style talks around the future of tech and the community that builds it.

Speakers haven’t been announced for this rendition yet, but you can keep up to date on the event page.

Tickets? Right here (but there’s only ten left!)

Date? July 10th, 2018.

May Leaf Meetup

In another part of Vancouver, you’ll find another type of meetup. It’s about cannabis.

Medicinal, of course.

The meetup is the inaugural one and will feature a talk from a leading cannabis geneticist about current research and potential future applications.

Tickets? Available here for just C$7.

Date? May 10th, 2018.

If you don’t find something in common with any of the people you’d expect to meet at these, you can see some other upcoming events here and here
