Events around the subject take place all over the world at different times of the year, and it seems like there are new installments to keep track of all the time. To help you get to know just some of these happenings in more depth. We’ve put together this resource:
UtahJS is now in it’s eighth year, and it’s set to be its biggest edition yet. Taking place in September of this year, this non-profit conference will build on its success from previous years by once again bringing together a myriad of talented speakers from far and near.

Tickets: Will go live soon. Watch this space!
2) Midwest JS
At the time of writing, Midwest JS will take place in 111 days, 18 hours, 44 minutes, and 3 seconds. That’s plenty of time to get excited, but we’ve chosen to get started right now.
Date: August 7th, 2019.
Location: Minnesota, USA.
3) JSConf US
Aside from the wonderful team behind it, a whole day of fun recreational activities, and two full days of talks, JSConf US was one of the first to implement a Code of Conduct, and their ongoing commitment to creating a safe and welcoming conference for all is something we wanted to take a moment to celebrate too.
Date: August 12th-14th, 2019
Location: California, USA.
There are plenty of familiar faces in the JS world to be found on the line-up, including Kate Beard of The Financial Times and Monica Powell from Meetup. 300 React developers are due to attend in London and are set to get a thrilling opportunity to talk shop in a diverse, safe space.
Date: May 2nd & 3rd, 2019.
Location: London, UK.
5) CityJS Conf
Date: May 1st-3rd, 2019.
Location: London, UK.
After a short hiatus last year, the team are back and set to bring together developers who’ve dedicated their careers to code and those who are just dipping their toes in. As well as a stellar line-up, the event is known for fantastic socials where devs can relax and network with like-minded folks.
Dates: September 26th-27th, 2019.
Location: Budapest, Hungary.
It’s a single-track conference, meaning that you’ll be able to take in every talk you so please without missing out on anything. Their line-up is in the process of being announced, but you can expect a stunning level of quality given they received just under 600 proposals. Again, watch this space.
Dates: July 18th-19th, 2019.
Location: Barcelona, Spain.
Tickets: Available now for €395.
8) JSConf EU
For an idea of what you can expect from JSConf EU, simply look to this feedback from a former attendee:
“This was probably one of the best weekends of my life, meeting great people, listening to talented developers share their experiences with us and getting inspired by a lot of them.”
As well as the main event, there are always plenty of side events set to pique the audience’s interest. This will be the 11th JSConf EU, so it’s safe to say the organisers have a seasoned knowledge of how to put on a show. This is one you don’t want to miss.
Dates: June 1st-2nd, 2019.
Location: Berlin, Germany.
Tickets: Available now from €839.
9) Dinosaur JS
Lastly, but not leastly, dinosaurs! Well, Dinosaur JS specifically.
As a non-profit, community-driven endeavour Dinosaur JS has all the quirks and integrity you’d imagine go with those monikers. As with a few other events in this round-up, Dinosaur JS is a member of the JSConf family.
For a sample menu of the talks that are in store, you can head on over to Confreaks to see some of the presentations enjoyed at the 2018 edition. If empathetic design systems, engineering leadership, or regression testing are your bag, you’re in for a treat.
Date: June 20th, 2019.
Location: Colorado, USA.
Tickets: $330 for Mesozoic Regular Birds!
With that, we hope you’ve found something to satiate your JS appetite. If you’re still on the hunt for additional tech conferences, we’ve got you covered.
