Art, Altitude, and An Active Lifestyle – The Tito Event Round-Up

It’s cold.

And, while I’m breaking a rule of thumb by opening with the weather, I wanted to take a peep to see past the greyscale sky that’s been looming over us for the past month.

This week on Tito, we’re featuring three springtime events to look forward to in the hopes of brightening up long winter evenings.

Sensorium

Sensorium is organised by Unfold Collective, a Slovakian-based design house that’s been pushing boundaries since it started. As well as 3D printing a festival set-up so that those involved can get a better feel for where everything should go, they’ve also made sculptures to explain supply chains to students.

The third incarnation of the event will take place next year and will focus on the future impacts of conceptual design and art on society.

Dates: May 4-5, 2018

Winter Tech Forum

There are two definitions of WTF, it would seem.

In the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Winter Tech Forum will bring together 40 individuals set to discuss whether their companies should change languages.

Organised by Bruce Eckel, past versions of this event have gotten insightful, rave reviews from attendees, and there’s no reason to believe that this time will be any different.

Dates: Feb 26-March 2, 2018

WellFest

The entire northern hemisphere will probably join me in welcoming our prodigal friend: the sun.

WellFest takes place next May. The promise is a day full to the brim of healthy activities not least: “fitness; yoga; pilates; talks on nutrition, mindfulness and mental health; cooking demonstrations; a dedicated WellKids zone; the WellVillage marketplace; healthy food; speciality coffee and so much more.”

Dates: May 12-13, 2018
